Where was I?

Right. Before I made any money, my camera was way smarter than me. There I was at the Bethesda fountain posing couples and *truly* faking it until I made it (as ya do). I had no brand, no identity. There was honestly a lot of experimenting, and hot sweats, and searching/saving inspo from my favorite artists until I could understand who I was and what my clients expected of me.

From 2017-2019 I honed in on wedding photography. I was really good at it, but...

​

I never cracked 6 figs. I was a $60k/year wedding photographer traveling around NY and NJ. I joined bigger companies to combat my solo-preneurship blues of working in such a lonely one-woman company.

​

Fast forward to 2020 and the world shuts down.

The entire wedding industry plummets.

​

DUN! DUN! LIFE IS OVER. I'M GOING TO STARVE AND LOSE MY HOUSE WE JUST BOUGHT 14 DAYS AGO.

Wrong. Oh, so, SO wrong. 

​

I pivoted. I built a new brand that only required 3 people in the room: Me, my hair and make up artist, and my one client.

​

Boudoir x Logan BOOMED. I signed up with an elite boudoir education company and I learned new poses, built out a new CRM and created google ads. Clients started coming. I designed an entire studio. I hired a branding agency to build my website and help identify my voice. 

 

 I got in front of my camera REGULARLY to build brand recognition (hint, I was the brand). I posted photos, people loved it. They knew who I was. My aesthetic was polished. I was spilling over with content. Photos and reels that featured me were the highest viewed.

My personal photos got my clients to do the 3 things every company needs:

Know, Like, Trust.

Four years later my business collectively raked in over $2.1MM.

​

I would never have propelled this far without a clear brand identity, stimulating content that people enjoyed looking at, and trust from my clients.​

And here I am, 4 years later, pivoting again.
